But, What is the Tentaglian Empire? 

Well, the Empire itself is a Sovereign Nation, governed and protected by the ancient Tentagel Dynasty, a ruling line of female descendants, who have been ordained as Empresses of Tentaglia, for a length of time-- longer than time is thought to have existed.

Where is this Empire, located? That answer is a little harder to explain... More details will be revealed as the story progresses, but the simplest answer I can offer is-- The Tentaglian Empire exists in a Universe, separated from ours, by only space & time...
